Indore: A Seven Day Online Faculty Development Program – TechRainbow was organized by the IT department of the Prestige Institute of Management and Research. During the event, experts from various fields dwelt upon elaborately on the importance of information technology, tech-entrepreneurship, Atmnirbhar Bharat, Blockchain Technology, cyber securities, artificial intelligence, machine learning, internet of things among others. The COO, Prestige University, Dr Anil Bajpai shed light on the importance of technology and education in India.
Dr. Sanjeev Patni, Chief Executive Officer, Prestige Inspire Foundation stressed the need for application of technology to enhance the skills of academics. PIMR Director, Dr Yogeshwari Phatak briefed about various academic activities being carried out by the PIMR to further develop the aptitude and teaching skills of the faculties.

Dr. Saurabh Maheshwari while deliberating upon Internet of Things, expounded as to how the things can be made internet enabled and used even for saving the life of human beings.
Krishna Nair, Head (IT), Impetus and Manoj Kumar from Australia in their valedictory addresses made participants aware about the impact of COVID on the IT Sector of India and how technology and its tools are used in protecting the environment.
